Come make your own Shibori heirloom piece, and learn a little bit about the origin of Indigo as a dye, with Kate Mattson of Meadows Botanica! We will wrap, fold, and clamp using traditional Arashi and Itijime Shibori techniques from Japan. Walk away with a beautiful heirloom for you, or a gift for a loved one. Choose from a bandana, tea towel, or baby onesie (limited size availability) OR BYO *pre-scoured* item (please, no items larger than a tee-shirt). If you are not familiar with scouring, please plan to use one of the prepared pieces from Kate, as properly prepped fabric is essential to achieving a nice color.
